Joint Monitoring Programme (JMP) for Water Supply and Sanitation

The mission of the JMP is to be the trusted source of global, regional and national data on sustainable access to safe drinking-water and basic sanitation, for use by governments, donors, international organizations and civil society. The website provides access to individual country files, as well as a custom stats compiler for dynamic maps, graphs and tables by choosing: type of data (water or sanitation coverage); geographical area (country, regional or worldwide); level of aggregation (country or group level); year(s); and areas (urban, rural or both).

ADB's Vision of Livable Cities

Cities contribute to national economic growth, but they can be polluted and overcrowded. Asia’s rapidly developing cities face inadequate basic services, environmental degradation, and increasing poverty. “Livable Cities” is ADB’s vision and approach to urban development. ADB works to support the transformation of developing cities in Asia and the Pacific into safe, sustainable urban centers.
