Reconnecting Asia

Center for Strategic and International Studies

Reconnecting Asia maps new linkagesroads, railways, and other infrastructurethat are reshaping economic and geopolitical realities across the continent. Through data curation and objective analysis, the project aims to fill Asia's infrastructure-information gap, squaring lofty ambitions with facts on the ground. It provides a database with map visualization for key infrastructure projects across Eurasia along categories of title, type (road, rail, port), status, region, country, year (2006 until today), initiative (title and principle agent), and funders (name, cost, country).
